Sacred Heart Elementary School

Sacred Heart Elementary School is undertaking an expansion and renewal project at its rural Ladner campus to address evolving space needs while enhancing the learning environment and supporting the well-being of students and staff. Located on a 15-acre site surrounded by agricultural land, the project will introduce dedicated spaces for music, French language instruction, sensory support, speech and language programming, and a new sacred space, while also exploring opportunities to improve existing staff and student support areas. The project aims to strengthen the school's facilities without increasing enrolment, creating a more functional and adaptable campus for the school community.

Westbourne Projects has been engaged to guide the project from early planning through design development, helping the school define priorities, evaluate options, and establish a practical path forward. Working alongside the school leadership, parish representatives, consultant team, and approval authorities, Westbourne is coordinating project strategy, budgeting, approvals, and delivery planning while navigating the unique site constraints associated with the Agricultural Land Reserve. Through a collaborative approach, the project is being shaped to provide long-term value and support the continued growth of the Sacred Heart community.
